Comments for Little Bus on the Prairie http://www.littlebusontheprairie.com Totally normal. Except for that whole "living in a bus" thing. Perhaps you would be interested to know why I even stop by. I “met” you via a guest post you wrote for Money Saving Mom years ago, near the beginning of your adventure in the bus.

It seems to fit here because everyone would be missing out if you waited to share your home until it was “perfect.” I did it for many years with mine and in many other areas but I finally had enough. Perfect doesn’t even exist! Good on you!!

You have handled a lot more than most and have handled it well…….. Remember, You are human not Wonder Woman, but you are a wonderful daughter.

You have a Great husband, Wonderful kids and a Good relationship with Jesus, those things in themselves are better than any and all other things combined…… At the core of all of your responsibility is a beautiful family with a wonderful bond of love……. something that we are so very fortunate to have the opportunity to experience in our lives…. These are and will be “The Good Ol Days”

I’m very proud of you.

Have a Great Day

Love Pops

We just signed papers on our new home and I’m already missing the one hour it takes to clean our apartment! I can totally relate to your thoughts!

You need to get a big flat linen sheet and some bright paint and get those friends to make a huge artwork with handprints and messages and signatures. Then get someone to stretch it on a frame and hang it .
It will both fill a big wall space and surround you with love and community even when they aren’t there in person xxxx

Love your writing, as always. And there are many days my heart yearns to trade in our house for a bus. Summertime at the trailer shows how much excess we really do not need to have or need to clean. Especially the clean part. Love how community is the solution to the icky feelings – it often is.

Comment on Are We Obligated to Make Sure our Kids are Happy? by Marko @ Parent Support Hub http://www.littlebusontheprairie.com/obligation-kids/#comment-69973 Thu, 04 May 2017 10:01:32 +0000 http://www.littlebusontheprairie.com/?p=1053#comment-69973 Jackie Kennedy once said that if we messed up raising our kid, nothing else in life we accomplish really matters. Truer words have not been spoken, don’t you agree? As long as your children know that you love them unconditionally—with that ‘just because’ kind of love—you and your children will be just fine.

I believe that you need to write more on this issue, it may not be a taboo matter but typically people do not speak about these
subjects. To the next! Cheers!!
